FOURTH DAY

FOURTH DAY   18/10/2018

On thursday we worked on our videos.

We had to re-write act 2 scene 5 of Romeo and Juliet in modern english and make a video out of it. First we had to make a story line of our video to plan it and choose the music.

So we startet working on a puppet-show but we could not finish it that day.

After school everybody met to play bowling and eat pizza.

That was a lot of fun. 

FIFTH DAY

FRIDAY        19.10.2018

On Friday we finished recording our video of Romeo and Juliet and finish making our blog of the week.


In the afternoon we are going to have a party with the whole family

THIRD DAY

THIRD DAY             17.10.2018

On Wednesday we went to Granada all the day.

We had 2 hours of travel and arrived in Granada at 11a.m. The first thing we did was visiting the Alhambra, one of the most famous monuments in all of Spain

At 2 o'clock teachers left us in Plaza Nueva and we ate all together in a cheap bar so it was fantastic!

At 4 p.m. we went up to Albaicin, which is a well-known neighborhood of Granada for its tearooms and cool atmosphere. At the Mirador de San Nicolas we had free time so we bought earrings, we got tattoos... Around 6:30 in the afternoon we took the bus back to Ubeda. The return trip was great because we were singing a lot, but we arrived a little tired.

SECOND DAY

SECOND DAY              16.10.2018

The second day we were the first two hours in the college and on 10 a.m. we us went to visit Úbeda.

We went away with our teacher of geography and history, who explained to us the monuments, churches and Ubeda's squares with his pupils. At 11 a.m. we went to visit the town hall where the mayor received us and I gave us a bag with some gifts. Although we were a bit tired, we enjoyed the tour and learnt many interesting things about the city.

In the afternoon we went to the small stadium of Úbeda. We were there for more than two hours playing football and talking to each other. Later, it was time to go bowling. However, it was closed, so we decided to go to a park and stay there.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Hello everyone!

Today is the 15/10/2017

Our names are Lucía, Carlos, Erik & Szymon and we are going to work all togheter for a week.

At 8 o'clock in the morning we have started the high school. First we have done some ice-breaking activities organized by the students of higher grades. Then, the members of the Spanish team have done a tour of their institute since this week will be our.

After that, the teachers have explained to us the tasks that we will have to carry out during all the days. One of the tasks was to write on a poster the worries we had before the Erasmus, such as the language, not getting well with our exchange partners ...

We all ate together in a restaurant and went to the sports center to play basketball. Later we went to a coffee shop and to buy clothes. We had a great time!
